A New Wii!
My 10-yr old son was so excited! I told him that today we were going to get a Wii console. I planned on going to GameStop to get it since we have a membership card and get a 10% discount on everything we buy there. But, when we got there, they were sold out.
So we went to the next store – Walmart. No luck. Then to Target, Blockbuster, another Walmart, and finally to Toysrus. In the window of the Toys r Us store was a big sign saying “We Have Wii in Stock”. The look on my son’s face was priceless! It was one of those ‘Christmas morning’ kind of expressions on his face.
I got the console, the Wii Play, which came with an extra controller, and the service plan, just in case my son got a little carried away and broke it over the next couple of years – we’re covered. Plus, I learned that Wii Sports comes with the console, so we had enough games to keep him busy for a little while.
So, this is the birth of this blog. I hope that as we try new games, grab screenshots, review games, and record video, we help everyone decide which games are right for their kids. So enjoy our Wii games reviews and share your own experiences too!
